ECOLOGICAL MANIFESTO FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

   The concept of sustainable development is based upon two points : long lasting economic growth associated with the protection of natural resources.
   This sustainability is reached trough the appliance of various techniques that avoid the degrading of the soils and waters, and conservation systems that preserve the biodiversity.
   These procedures must be associated with general developing strategies that reduce poverty, raise the standards of education and link regional markets to national and international ones, adapting these to local climatic and environmental limitations.We, of the project "Brazil 500 Years - To Recycle is Our Duty", created by Roberto Böell Vaz, work for this universal cause; which is the survival of the human being and the reconciliation with the planet.
   Our work consists on promoting an alert in regards to social-environmental problems and their possible solutions - which can usually be applied locally as well as globally. We do not have any political or religious inclinations. Our nationality is Brazilian ,but we are sons of the earth that search for the harmony between nations, respecting their cultures, with the aim to create better quality of living for this and the next generations.
